Mr J. C. Boddington reports that the rainfall registered at Upper Plain for the 24 hours up till 9 a.m. en Wednesday was 20 points. By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, September 9. The following is Captain Edwin's weather forecast to 3 p.m. tomorrow :—Westerly winds, strong to gale, are probable in all places south of East Cape, Taupo and Raglan, ar.d strong westerly winds elsewhere; weather generally unsettled, and rain probable with a falling barometer south of New Plymouth and Napier.
