THE PERSIAN CRISIS.
Received September 9, 11.27 p.m. LONDON, September 9. The identical British and Russian Note presented to the Shah emphasises the disturbances and danger to the lives and property of foreigners at Tabriz, and urgently recommends the issue of the promised proclamation relating to the elections at the earliest moment, with a view to reassuring the peorle regarding the Royal determination to maintain the constitution, and also to summon a new Mejliss (National Council) to meet in the middle of November.
