MARTON RACES. by telegraph-—rsssa ASSOCIATION. MARTON, September 2. The opening day of the Marton -Jockey Club's spring meeting was held in beautiful weather. There was a large attendance, big fields, and a surprisingly good course. Seventeen bookmakers were in evidence, and despite this the totalisator returns showed a slight increase over the corresponding day of last year, the I figures being £6,941 against £6,898.
