HOCKEY.
The following Masterton ladies' team has been selected by Messrs J. Rue, C. Carley and B. lveson to compete in the Hockey Tournament ,at Wellington, commencing on Fridsy next:— Goal-keeper: Miss Meenkin (Carterton). Full-backs: Misses I. McKenzio (High School) and D. La Roche .(Huia). Half-backs: Misses VV. Rayner (Huia), M. Harris (Huia), M. Coyle (Garry Owen). Wings: Misses K. O'Leary, (Garry Owen), 0 ."Richards (Huia). Forwards: Misses 0. Dagg (High School), Dalrymple (Huia), Hampton (Huia). Miss M. Collins(Garry Owen), who is unable to go to Wellington till Monday, is the twelfth piu;,<.r. Another einprgfcm-y will also be taken. Several players were unable to matte the trip, and they were in consequence not selected. The team's uniform will be blue blouse, green tie and green and white (Garry Owen) caps. The Kia Toa (Greytown) team are experiencing some difficulty in getting their strongest team away to compete in the Wellington ladies' hockey tournament.
