"HUMPTY-DUMPTY."
Mr J. C. Williamson's pantomime, "Humpty Dumpty," now appearing in Wellington has achieved a success that is said to have eclipsed that of "Mother Goose." The pantomime will be staged for one night only in Masterton on Tuesday. The spectacular side of the production appears to be on a scale of magnificence. The crowning spectacle in the "flail cf ten thousand lights," described as an exceptionally effective scheme of stage illusion. The comedy of "Humpty-Dumpty" is said to be perhaps the best that a J. C. Williamson extravaganza has yet provided. This department is headed by Mr Bert Gilbert, an English comedian, who has not previously appeared in rJjv /caland. Mr Victor Loydall and Mr Harry Shine are associated with him in the fun-making.
