HOCKEY.
Kin Toa (Greytovn) beat the Ngatiawa Ladies' Club (Petone) on Saturday last by 5 goals to 1. The game was not as one sided as the scores indicate, the visitors losing a number of goals through bad shooting. One of the Ngatiawa players was seriously injured, being rendered unconscious. She was attended by Dr Bey. Mr D. C. Hua.phrey was referee.
