HOCKEY.
Quite a gala week is to be made of the Ladies' Hockey Touranament at Wellington. So far the following teams have signified their intention of taking part —Senior: Masterton, Kia Ton (Greytown) Wellington (2), Hawke's Bay, Chriatchurcb, and Nelson; junior, Oi;aki, .Wellington (2), and Wanganui (2). The teams are to be entertained at a conversazione on Thursday, September 10th. A conference of delegates from the hockey associations throughout the Dominion is to be held on Monday, September 7th. The matches will be played on the Athletic Park.
