The following is Captain Edwin's weather forecast to 3 p.m. to-mor-row:-—Moderate southerly wind north of New Plymouth and Naprer; moderate to strong westerly winds elsewhere; rain probable in all parts south of Wanganui and Napier. Barometer, litlle rmvemcnt in berth, but falling steadily in southern districts.
Mr J. C. Boddington reports that the rainfall registered at Upper Plain for the 24 hours up till I) a m. on Wednesday was 18 points.
