THE THREE MILLION GRANT. "AN UGLY INCIDENT." Received August 25, 9 a.m. PRETORIA, August 24. General tfotha, Tiansvaal Prime Minister, speaking in the Legislative Assembly, said that Lord Milner's administration had been the most unfortunate thing that had ever happened in toe Transvaal The distribution of a three million grant was the ugliest incident in the Transvaal's history. The progressives declared that the distribution was in accordance with the Vereeniging settlement, and that the three millions actually became nine millions.
