NARROW ESCAPE OF A SCHOOLBOY.
BY TKLKOUAPH PItKNS AKBOCIATION. PALMERSTON N.. August 25. A schoolboy travelling between Levin and Shannon by lust night's Wellington train had d narrow eac-pe from death. He fell between a carriage and the van, but fortunately Wf s seen by the guard. The train was pulled up, and the boy was found caught in the springs of the carriage. He had sustained slight injuries to his legs.
