DEATHS IN FRANCE EXCEED BIRTHS. Received August 25, 9 a.m. LONDON, August 24. Reuter's Agency states that the latest statistics show that in 1907 the deaths in France totalled 794,000, and the births 774,000. This is the first instance of any country's deaths exceeding the births.
