At the football carnival to celebrate the jubilee of the Australian game, Tasmania bsat New South Wales by 8 goals 14 behinds to 4 goals 11 behinds. We«t Australia beat South Australia by 8 goals 11 behinds to 8 goals 5 behinds. At the latter end of the "All Black" tour of 1905, Mr H. J. Mynott, C. Seeling, and D. McGregor ass'sted Gloucester to defeat Leicester by 20 points to nil. Recent Er.glish papers record that the last-named player has applied to the English Union to be reinstated as an amateur, and if his application is acceded to the "Flying Scotchman" will play for the county he is now a resident of—Gloucester. The Wanganui and Wairarapa Senior representatives will meet on the Showgrounds on Thursday next, when an interesting game should be witnessed.
