CHOLERA IN RUSSIA.
LARGE NUMBER OF DEATHS,

ST. PETERSBURG, August 24. There is an epidemic of cholera in Russia.
One thousand and forty-five cases were reported during the week ending August 20th, and 517 deaths have occurred.
There has been 2,024 cases and 1,900 deaths since.
