SEVERAL KAIDS AND CHIEFS KILLED.

Received August 24, 12.15 a.m. MOROCCO, August 23. Mulai Hafid's forces crusbingly defeated Abdul Azi;:'s troops fifty miles from Marrakesh. The remnants of Abdul Aziz's army are in full retreat towards the French zone in the Shawia district. During the retreat the shattered force repelled the attacks of hostile t-ibes. Several kaids and chiefs were killed.
