THE MALLINSONS.
The Mallinson Kong recital will be given at the Town Hall on Friday, August 28th. Messrs Clyde Msynell and John Gutm are directing the tour. Mrs Mallinson was once Anne Steinhauser, the Danish soprano, and is regarded by her own country folk as their finest singer. Albert Mallinson 's song cycle "My Garden" will it is said, sing praises more eloquently than the pens of a million critics. People who have heard this charming cycle call it one of the most beautiful and attractive compositions ever written, its stirrin • strains expressing the most tender and sweetest of emotions. Mrs Malinson's charming rendering of this composition, it is stated, leaves a refined appreciation of the artistic expression, satisfying the most exacting beyond all measure. The Mallinson song recital should afford musiclovers a rare music treat. The Mallinsons will bo supported by Miss Rebe Kussman, a clever young violi: - is'e Mr William Rolyons, a well* known Australian basso, and Miss Wyman, pianiste. The box plan is at Miss Rive's, where seats may be booked.
