Friar, tbs New Zealand cadet, was introc!u:ed tj Lord Roberts, wno pr s mted hi:n with a match rifle in commenoration of his visit and goad shouting in the Cheylesmorw and Guinnuds competitions, in both of which Friar was second. Copelun t, an Australian cadet, was ni.itn in the Guinness competition.
