ALLEGED HIGHWAY ROBBERY.

The proceedings against Josephs Johnston, Frank Bolton and James, Keegan, in connection with the cases, of alleged highway robbery in this ' city last May were resumed at theSupreme Court this morning before Justice Dennißton. The hearing of the charges of robbery from the person commenced yesterday was concluded, and the accuseds were convicted. The three men were then indicted 4 , for that on May 11th or 12th last they broke into and entered the premisesof J. T. McHaig, of Woolston, and stole certain overcoats, ties, socks; and other goods, valued at £lB, and; that on or about the 14th or 15th of May last they broke into and entered the premises of Wm. Fred. Keen, Linwood, and stole therefrom, cigarettes, tobacco, stamps and other • goods valued at £2 each. Accused pleaded guilty. Sentence was deferred till to- - morrow.
