(By Telegraph—Special to Age). PAHJATUA, August 18. Messrs Abraham and Williams and Dalgety and Co., Ltd., held their usual stock sales to-day. There was a poor yarding of both sheep and cattle. Price?, however, were fair. All lines were cleared. Mixed hoggets brought 8s 7d to 9s 6d, forward ewes lis ( Jd, springing heifers 47s to 60s, springing cows 105s, empty cows 255, 12 to 18-month steers 50s, 2|-year steers 70s. JOHNSONVILLE, August 18. Messrs Abraham and, Williams, Ltd., report on their Johnsonville sale as follows: —There was a good entry of bullocks. The bulk of the entry were good to prime quality, and the balance were unfinished rough sorts. Beef made up to 24s 6d. for prime, rough sorts 225, best bullocks realised £9 7s 6d to £9 17s 6d, others £8 7s 6d to £8 17s 6d, rough £6 15s to £7. There was a good yarding of sheep, including some prime wethers. The market was keen. Best wethers brought 19s lid to 20s 3d, others 18s lid to 19s Id, light 15s lid to 17s 4d, ewes 17s 6d, others 15s Id to 3 5s lid, and 13s lid.
