SEDITIOUS SPEECHES. A NATIVE SENTENCED TO TRANSPORTATION. Received August 18, 11.15 p.m. CALCUTTA, August 18. A native, named Ettheraj Surendraneth Arya, has been sentenced to five years' transportation for having delivered seditious speeches at Madras.
