THE DOMINION'S REVENUE.
When there are always tho3e, some to further their own ends and others because they are naturally "croakers," who are willing to decry the prosperity of the country, it is satisfactory to know that for the twelve j months, ended 31st July. 1903, the I revenue shows that we are £309,299 ! to the good, by comparison with the actual of the previous twelve months, and this with all reductions of revenue in operation and with the Customs revenue £109,659 less up to that period for 1908 than for the same period of the previous twelve months.
