NON-UNIONIST ASSAULTED.
BY TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION. LABOURER SENT TO GAOL. WELLINGTON, August 14. At the Magistrate's Court to-day. a labourer named Walter Kilkoolly was sent to prison for fourteen rlaya for assaulting a non-unionist baker named J«mes Heron. The affair aruse out of the recent strike of bakers in Wellington. The Magistrate (Mr W. P. James) said it was no use inflicting a fine, as it would be paid by the Union.
