Received August 13, 10 p m. DURBAN, August 13. Tvvo thousand one hundred and seventy repatriated Chinese have sailed from Durban. The Transvaal Government have agreed to legalise the statU3 of Asiatics, who voluntarily registered before May 10th cr obtained serMficates of registration under the Asiatic Act of 1907. It is proposed to restrict trading licenses to Asiatics thus qualified.
