When M. Nasties reached Vienna the police conducted him to Croatia, and seized correspondence implicating the Belgrade Court. "MALICIOUS LIES.'" Received August 12, 11.20 p.m. LONDON, August 12. King Peter of Servia has telegraphed to the Servian Charges d'Alfaires in London, stating that all Nastic's allegations cabled on June sth referring to himself and Montenegro are absurd and malicious lies.

At the trial, in June last, of 52 persons charged with conspiracy, M. Nasties, a Bosnian journalist, causad a sensation by stating in evidence that certain bombs seized by the authorites came from Servia, and were intended to be useJ in the assassination of Prince Nicholas, of Montenegro. He alleged that these bombs were manufactured at the State arsenal at Kragujuvatz, in Seviu, on the recommendation of the Crown Prince of Servia, and with King Pet?r's cognisance. He declared that he had taken part in the manufacture of the infernal machines, and then, when possessed of full knowledge of the plot in progress, had revealed the details to the Montenegrin authorities. The trial resulted in six of the plotters being sentenced to death, and three to imprisonment lor life. Twenty-seven others were ordered to be imprisoned for terms ranging from six to twenty years. The allegations of M. Nasties in regard to complicity of the Servian Crown Prince were officially contradicted by the Servian Minister at Cettinje, and it was reported that they had been withdrawn.
