f Constable Kyle, of Masterton, has •sent in his resignation as a mombpr of the Police Force. Mr E. W. Morgan, who for many years was a director of the Belvedere Dairy Company, is leaving Carterton for Pahiatua district. On Tuesday night the Belvedere milk suppliers presented Mr and Mrs Morgan with a silver water-jug and tea-pot, as soma slight recognition ol the services rendered by Mr Morgan as a director. At the annual meeting Jof the Masterton Tennis Club eulogistic refer- . •ence was made to the valuable services rendered to the club by Mr N. D. Bunting, who had for many yearn f past carried out the duties of secretary sThe chairman, the Rev. Dean McKenna, said that it was chiefly . due to Mr Bunting's indefatigable efforts that the club had made such .progress. The club in the past had experienced some trying times, but ' these had now been successfully overcome, chiefly through the excellent work done by the secretary. He was sure he was echoing the sentiments ' of all the members when he said that they deeply regretted losing Mr Bunting's services.
