The Archbishop of Canterbury states that £125,000 out of £135,<'00 constituting the Pan Anglican Conference thanksgiving offering has already been allotted to specific objects by the donors in distributing the balance for clerical and educational needs, the north-west of Canada and parts of Australasia and the South Seas will be borne in mind. The Grand Cross of St. Michael and St. George has been conferred on Sir Francis Hopwood, Under-Sec-retary for the Colonies.
