The National Hurdle Race resulted as follows:—Munideaba, list 101b, 1; Macumba, lOst 81b, 2; rathfinder, 9at 21b, 3. There were ten starters. Tne winner, after occupying a position in the rear till near the finish, ram<' through and won by half a length. Time, 4min 50sec. LOWER VALLEY JOCKEY CLUB. The following is the annual report to be submitted to the annual meeting of membeis to be held at Martinbjrough on Saturday, August 22nd:— Your st'ewards 'beg to submit the annual report and balance sheet. The year commenced with a debit balance of £346 3s 7d, and ended with an increase of £ll3 lis lOd, making the total debit balance of £453 15s sd. In view of this result, your Stewards wish to bring under the notice of members the necessity of cutting down the expenditure and stakes for the ensuing year.
