A SOLICITOR ARRESTED.
CHARGE OF EMBEZZLEMENT. By Telegraph—Press Association. PALMERSTON N., August 10. C. E. Harden, solicitor, was arrested at his residence this morning on a charge of alleged embezzlement of £260. When accused saw the detective approaching he swallowed two pills, and was tuken at once to the hospital. He is supposed to have attempted to kill himself.
