BY TELEGRAPH ' PRESS ASSOCIATION. GORE, August 10. The inquest on the victims of the explosion at Waikaia was opened yesterday before Mr J. Milne, J.P. Atter taking formal evidence the enquiry was adjourned till Thursday, August 13th, to allow the Mines Department to be represented if desired. The injured men—Crawford and Henry—were taken to the Invercirgill Hospital to-day.
