BY TELEGRAPH —rttESS ASSOCIATION. GISBORNE, August 10.' The Union Company's steamer Hawea is now a fortnight out from Newcastle to this port. It is feared she must have broken down. Later. The Flora leaves Auckland to-day to search towards Newcastle for the Hawea. The Haupiri has been instructed to zig-zag from the East Cape towards Cape Maria Van Diemen. WELLINGTON, August 10. Captain P. C. Reid is in command of the overdue steamer Hawea, and he has with him che following officers : Chief mate, Mr B. B. Irwin. Second mate, Mr R. A. Williams. Third mate, Mr W. Cossentine. Chief engineer, Mr J. McLean. Second engineer, Mr A. Carman. T .ird engineer, Mr F. Ritson.
