ANNUAL SHOW. 13Y TMjTIGKAI'II—I'LtKSK ASSOCIATION. NAPIER, August 6. Mr J. S. Maude, the judge for the Hawke'a Bay Kennel Club's annual show, who had been delayed on the journey, reached Napier at 1 p.m. today, and judged the entries in the afternoon. The show has been extended till to-morrow. The following 1 are the principal successes President's Cup for the most points in rough-coated collie?, j. !{. Hayne (won outright); silver.trophy for the most points in greyhounds, Mrs J. Gleeson; silver trophy for the most points in cocker spaniels, A. C. Howe won outright)trophy for the most points in smooth-coated fox terriers, J. W. Thomson, Dunedin. Other trophies were gained as follows Best fox terrier dog, puppy, wire-haired or smooth coated, bred by exhibitor, J. W. Spsnce's Akarana Ability; best fox terrier bitch, puppy, wire haired or smooth coated, bred by exhibitor, J. W. Spenee's Akarana Astonishment; best Irish terrier, C. Ride's Tardley Little Demon; best wire-haired fox terrier, J. Jamieson's Cottesmore Admiral.
