BY TELECHtAI'H —PRESS ASSOCIATION. WELLINGTON, August 5. The Wellington Gas Company proposes to increase it.i capital from £200,U00 to £400,000 by the issue of 20,000 £lO shares. From 1902 to 1907 the consumption of g;is increased 80 per cunt. The Company's new gasworks at Miramar will cost £200,000 or over.
