THE WAIRARAPA CALEDONIAN SOCIETY.
The Wairarapa Caledonian Society has just closed a very successful year. The retiring President (Mr T. P. Let") has done his duty admirably, and the office-holders generally deserve every credit for their assiduity. The incoming President (Mr D. McLachlan) is one of the district's best known and' respected settlers, a generous patron ot true sport, and a gentleman well worthy to fill the position he has been elected to. The Society is one of the bist sports bodies in New Zealand, and it deserves to prosper for its very progressivtness alone.
