IMPROVEMENTS AT THE PARK.
The assiduous caretaker of the Park is devoting his well-known energy to making the Borough's aesthetic asset more valuable. Last summer the Park saw its record picnic season, the long and sunny days being spent by families often more than once a week in the vicinity of the lake. There promises to be even more attraction for picnickers next summer, as the Lake area is being extended, more tree planting has added to the general beauty, a splendid lawn has been put down, and various other improvements made. Money spent by the Council on the Park is undoubtedly disbursed wisely and economically, and ratepayers and residents generally must feel that this is so.
