THE MERRYMAKERS.
In point of novelty and originality the Merrymakers are credited with furnishing the very latest form of London vaudeville. Their performances, the first of which is to be given next Wednesday evening, do not contain the slightest suggestion of .the broad humour that is too frequently indulged in to gain a iaugh; instead the humour is refreshingly wholesome, the entertainment aooundd with grotesque satire and extravagant imagery of an uncommon character, whether in song, story, or music. The Merrymakers succeed in keeping the "laughter pot" at boiling peine. J. M. bell's Scotch characterisations promise to be unusually clever, this artist having come in ' for considerable praise from Australian excrnnges for his mirthful impersona.iuns, which are said to be irreaistible. Other members of the party are each On the high-level standards of their respective arts. The season here is limited to two nights, commencing on Weuneaday next. The box plan opens to-morrow at Miss Rive's, when seats may be reserved >
