Received August 2, 4.30 p.m. LONDON, August 1. In the House of Commons the amendment to the Irish Universities Bill, proposed hy Lord Killanin, Commissioner of National Education in Ireland, "that h provision permitting private erection of a chapel in the precincts of a univeristy or college be reinserted in the Bill," was deleted.
