Weights for the First Day's Events will be declared on or about WEDNESDAY, 19th August, 1908, and for the Second Day's Events at the Office uf the Club, at 8 p.m. on the evening of the First Day. Acceptances for the First Day's Events will close, with the Secretary, at the office of the Club, Marton, on TUESDAY, 25th August, 1908, at 7.30. p.m, and for the Second Day's Events at the same place at 9 o'clock ori the evening oi: the First Day. RULES. The winner of any race after declaration of weights, to carry a penalty of 7lli; of two or more races 10lb. A Hunter is a horse whose owner can produce at scales a certificate from the Master of any Hunt that tho horse has been ridden to hounds during the past season to the satisfaction of the Master, and has neither 'vVon nor is nominated at the date of entry for a race of i!4o— and Hunter races excepted.
