For quaMed hunters only Minimum weight lOst 71b. Entry 15s. To start at 4.30 p.m. \ RULES & CONDITIONS. ' 1. All races to be run under New Zealand Rules of Racing. 2. Riders in Races Nos. 1, 8, 5, 6 and 7 to be financial mcinber.vof Hunts affiliated with New Zealand Hunts' Association. , 8. A financial member of a Hunt Club is a duly elected member of any Hunt whose subscription for the present season shall have been paid on or before Stst July, 1908. 4. A qualified hunter means a horse that has hunted «t least 5 times with any recognized pack of hounds during tho present season, and a master's certificate to that effect must be produced at the scales. 5. The winner of the WairarapaHunt Steeplechase to carry a penalty of 10/bs in the Taratahi Steeplechase, and the winner of any flat race to carry a penalty of lolbs in tho flat races, Penalties not to be cumulative. 6. All seratchings must be notified to the Secretary at least halt an hour before the advertised timn of starting each race. 7. All entries must be accompanied with the necessary fees,, together with pedigree, age and colour ol horse, also colours of rider. Eiitries by telegram must be confirmed iu writing at the earliest opportunity. ENTRIES close with the Secretary, P.O. Box 145, Masterton, at 9 p.m. on Saturday, August 15th, I 1908.
