President Castro hi 9 expelled the Dutch Minister from Venezuela, it is supposed owing to Holland's unsatisfactory reply lo President Castro's demand that more effectual vigilance sho.ild bo exercised over Dutch vessels which assist revolutionaries to escape from La Guayra.

Last month Mr Unbil, the United States Charge d'Affaires, left Caracas. Other nations are having great friction with President Castro, and it is understood that France and Colombia are practically severing their relations with Venezuela.
