BARGAINS IN FREEHOLD PROPERTY.
In another column of this issue, Messrs Hipkins and Madill, estate agents, of Auckland, advertise a list of properties for sale which should interest all those in search of gemiine land bargains. The whole of these properties are recommended by Mr Madill, who is a practical farmer of many years experience, as being thoroughly safe and sound investments. From the particulars advertised it will tie seen that the properties are of nice workable areas, improved and very reasonably priced, and those requiring further particulars can obtain them on application. Messrs Hipkins and Madill report that they have sold 5,400 acres of the Waitoa Estate, near Morrinsville, Waikato, at a satisfactory figure. This piece of land adjoins the Piako Swamp Estate, which the Government are now draining, and is considered to constitute some of the finest dairying land in the Waikato. Partly improved land adjoining is now worth £ls per acre. They have also sold to the same buyer 2,638 acres; a good sized farm at Tamaki; three large farms at Whitford (one of them being the Whitford Park Estate homestead); 1,455 acres, near Morrinsville, at £5 10s per acre. This enterprising firm have turned over within the last three months farm properties to the value of £50,000 in the Auckland district.
