At to-day's stock sales, held by Messrs Abraham and Williams and Dalgety and Co., there was a medium yarding of sheep, while the yarding of cattle was poor, both in quantity and quality. There was, however, a good attendance, and iprices may be considered to be a •plight advance, on the former week's >saleS, especially in sheep. * Fullmouthed ewes in lamb sold at 10s; two to six-tooth and full-mo-jthed -empty ewea, 8s; hoggets, according to condition, 4s 3d, 7s 6d; iat wethers, 14s 6d, 15s 9d. In cattle, ctwo-year heifers eoUI at 335; two and a-half-year steers, 40s; weaners, -5s 4d. All the cattle were in poor condition.
