A JEWELLERY ROBBERY.
By Telegraph—Press Association. AUCKLAND, July 21. The shop of James Pascoe, jeweller,of Karangahape road, was, between 6.30 and 7 o'clock, to-night, visited by a burglar, who carried off jewellery to the value of £4OO. Mr Pascoe is in the habit of going home to ten at 6.30, leaving a placard on the door of the shop, which is always locked, of course, stating "I will return at 7."
The burglar made his entrance through a window at the rear of the shop, and made a clean sweep of almost everything, including a parcel of jewellery that had been left on approval.
