WOMEN'S FRANCHISE.
"DAILY EXPRESS" PLEBISCITE. Received July 20, 9 p.m. LONDON, July 19. The "Daily Express" took a plebiscite amongst its readers on the Question of whether the' franchise should be extended to women. Out of over 216,000 who participated 119,989 voted against votes for women, 55,479 voted for limited woman suffrages, and 51,278 for full enfranchisement. One hundred and seventeen thousand four hundred and ninety-six women, and 99.248 men participated in the plebiscite.
