WHAT IT WILL COST NEW ZEALAND. WELLINGTON, July 20. Sir Joseph Ward slated to-night that the whole cost of entertaining the American fleet would ba about per head of population. The estimated return, not from the visitors, but from the people -of this country, through their use of the public service, was elevenpence per head of the population, at the lowest estimatr.
