There waa at one time a probability of two Maori teams filing on to the field to play the Australians hi the final test match (o-day. The trouble arose through dis.sension over the selection of a team. An official picked one team and the dissentients another. However, after some difficulty, the ■ dispute was settled. WAIRARAPA RUGBY UNION. JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP. DALEFIELD v. TE ORE ORE. Dalefield defeated Te Ore Ore on "the Showgrounds on Saturday by 12 to 3. Mr R. Spaekman was referee. CARTERTON v. GREYTOWN. (The Greytown team were defeated ■at Carterton, on Saturday, by the local juniors by 9 points to 7. Mr J. was referee. v JR3D STAR v. MARTINBOROUGH. Red Star won from Martintorough .by default.
