IMPERIAL PRESS CONFERENCE.
LONDON, July 17. Lord Burnham, principal proprietor of fhe "Daily Telegraph," has been appointed president, Lord Northcliffe (Alfred Harmsvvorth) honorary treasurer, C. A. Pearson chairman of executive, and Mr Harry Brittain honorary secretary of a com mittee to invite leading oversea journalists to an Imperial Press Conference. Many newspapers warmly support the proposal.
