A CRISIS
Received July 16, 10.25 a.m. SYDNEY, July 16. The espionage system for the prevention of dishonesty in the tramway service has produced a crisis. The men demand the abolition of the practice, otherwise they will take measures to gain their demand. Received July 16, 9.48 p.m. SYDNEY, July 16 The Commissioners have consented to receive a deputation from the tramway men on the espionage question.
