MANUFACTURING INTERESTS
DISTURBED. Received July 14, 5.20 a.m. NEW YORK, July la. ' A threatened raise in railway rates in East Mississippi, North Potomac, and along the Ohio Rivers is gravely disturbing manufacturing interests in America. Mr W. C. Blown, senior vice-pre-sident of the New YorK central liney, has declared that the ris*» in rates is the only alternative to a decrtase in wages, which is out of the question.
