AUCTIONEERS' COMMISSION.

In reply to complaints which have been made over the action of the Associated Hawke's Bay Stock Auctioneers, in raising the commission on sales of live stock in their yards to ;3S per cent., it is explained that the reason is that the brokers have awakened to the fact that they had previously been giving their services to farmers at an unremuneration rate, taking into account the risks of business.
