WAIRARAPA HUNT CLUB.

"MEET" AT CLAREVILLE,

A very enjoyable "meet" of i the hounds was held under the auspices of the Wairarapa Hunt Club, at Clareville, on Saturday, the run being over the properties of Messrs W. H. Booth and Campbell. The tlu - ow-off was on Mr Campbell's property, and the "kill" on Mr Booth's the latt-T laying the di'ag on Piriluaha. Those who followed the hounds were as follow:—Mr Harold Welch (huntsman) nn Firestiek, Messrs C. J. Bennett on Diana and B Vallance on Garry ( whips), Mr W. H. Buick (master) on Dick Turpin, Messrs W. Hsrcock on Cloveal, H. Britson on (lUnmetal, N. Douglas on Atarangi, H. Douglas on Haka, R. Buick on Kiwi, B. Keardon on Traylock, C. F., Vallance or. Rata, J Chisholm on Tatu, F. Hood on Mounted Rifle, J. J. Floyd on Jes~, O. Cadwallader on Kauarau, J. Wolters on Pahahau, A Cawdallader on Jack, C. T Williams on Prospector, V. O'Neill on Dandy Daniell, E. Pel'ling on Lady Kulinine, H. Deller on Bon, J. Burns on Valima, T. Smith on Hikorangi. The "meet" was a very enjoyable one. A few spills took place, but no one was injured. Afternoon tea was dispensed at Carrington Estate by Mrs W. H. Booth, the hospitality iHccorded to huntsmen by that lady being greatly appreciated.
