It is a military band, but has been granted leave of absent, with the approval of the President of the United States. It proceeds first to New Zealand, and will subsequently go to Sydney and Melbourne. Although consisting of coloured members, it will be admitted to Australia by permission of the Federal Government, and will subsequently return to the Phiilippnes in one of the American battleships.
